Are you planning to start an Internet business? To earn a lot of money online you need to do two things - find a product that sells and find people to help you sell it. So, how do you go about doing this? 1. Recruit an affiliate army that sells your product day and night Giving affiliates a reason to promote your product is the first issue that you need to consider. There are two main ways to persuade them to do this. The first is to create a product that is so powerful, and which is needed by so many people, that affiliates automatically recognize it as a guaranteed money maker for them. This is an ideal situation but the problem is that it is difficult to come up with a product that achieves this effect. It is possible though, you just need to perform extensive market research and put sufficient time and resources into the creation of your product. The second approach, which is the most common, is to send the top affiliates in your niche a free review copy of your product. Building up some sort of relationship with them (maybe through forums or their blog) before sending them your product is best, as otherwise your joint venture offer will likely end up in their trash folder along with the many others that they get sent every day. 2. Make an efficient sales funnel The term ’sales funnel’ refers to the period of time between you getting someone’s name and email address and them buying your highest priced product. An example of a sales funnel is as follows… Your visitor signs up for a free report and are then redirected to an $37 upsell. Following this he is sent a series of emails that contain useful information but which also promote a $97 product. Next, he is added into another autoresponder series that promote a $297 product, and this can go on until he buys a really highly priced product, say at $5000. You should have a few sales funnels in place for each of your products - some with a harder sell and some with a more gentle approach. Then, regardless of the type of buyer that your visitor is, you should eventually makes sales one way or another. Affiliates will send more traffic your way when they realize how powerful your marketing funnel is and how much money they make with your products compared to the competition. As a final point about the affiliate recruitment and sales funnel process in general - keep it simple. The more complex you make it, the less chance there is of you actually following through with it all of the way. Also, if it is too complex, you confuse both affiliates and prospects - which is something that you want to avoid at all costs.
